Camber Sands
Camber is located east of the ancient town of Rye, has over 7 miles of award winning blue flag beach, and much of it is golden sands! It is home to the only sand dune system in East Sussex.
Rye
A medievil gem! 5 Minutes from Camber. One of the best preserved medieval towns in England, Rye is home to the enchanting cobbled Mermaid Street, the impressive norman church of St Mary’s, a rich selection of specialist shops and a thriving fishing fleet.
Dungeness
Dungeness is unique – 10 minutes drive from Camber.
No boundaries, a desolate landscape with wooden houses, a power station, lighthouses and expansive gravel pits. Yet it possesses a rich and diverse wildlife within the national nature reserve in one of the largest shingle landscapes in the world.
One of our favorite places, plus there is an amazing Fish shop on the beach with all locally caught fish that tastes like no other!
Hastings
Hastings is really three towns in one joined by a level promenade; (only 30 minutes from Camber) the Old Town, the bustling contemporary shopping town centre in the middle and St Leonard’s to the west featuring the classical elegance of James Burton’s architecture and the fashionable Norman Road – recently named as the new ‘Portobello Road-on sea’ by The Times` and offering a great collection of antique shops and vintage galleries.
